USB Tester and Quickchargers

Because of this, the higher voltage will damage the USB Tester Backpack as it runs at 5V and has no regulation.

Fear not! You can still use it with a quick charger. It just needs a slight modification. The only change in operation will be for the OLED Backpack – it will need its own 5V USB power source. All you need to do is cut the solder jumper on the back side of the Backpack.
